GOOD LUCK IN THE FALL SEASON TO ALL
CARBON UNITED TEAMS!!

Monthly Meeting:
Meeting Date:
March 1st, 2010 @ 6:30 pm

Location:  St. Paul's Union Church, Lehighton

We encourage everyone to attend. The spring soccer season will soon be
starting. On the agenda this month is the fee's for the fall season. If you would
like to give us your feedback we would gladly appreciate it.

These are 2 of our options we are voting on this month.

Request for comment:
The board of directors of Carbon Unite Soccer Club are voting on options to
keep the club financially viable at the next monthly meeting on March 1ST, at
the St. Paul's Union Church in Lehighton at 6:30 P.M.
The board has narrowed our options down to two choices. We would like input
from the parents.
Choice one is to raise registration fees for the fall 2010 season. Five dollars
was discussed for all players this year and similar increases will most likely be
needed each year hereafter.
Choice two is to keep registration fees the same for the foreseeable future, but
change the uniform policy from the present replacement every two years to the
following. “All new players will receive a uniform set upon their initial
registration with CUSC at no additional cost. Thereafter, uniform items will be
replaced at an as needed basis. Players will be charged per item at registration
time or as needed thereafter.†Since existing players have a full uniform set,
they will be charged per item beginning with the fall 2010 season. The cost of
the current 2 shirts, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of socks is $40.00. If at some
point our uniform manufacturer, discontinues the present uniform line, parents
would also be charged for a new uniform set.
Parents are encouraged to give comment to ges1@ptd.net prior to the next
meeting.

Thank you, Diane Schnell, President
